The following CD-ROMs work with both Windows and Mac and if you purchase the complete set of individual instruments parts in a particular volume (that is, all instruments of volume 5 for example), you'll have all the orchestra parts and will be able to perform any work included in that volume.

These are standard orchestral parts used by orchestras around the world for many years. All editions used are in the public domain in the United States, which means in most other countries too (although you should check yours, if you wish to perform the work).

Note also the orchestral parts for interesting solo viola works like Berlioz's Harold in Italy and Richard Strauss' Don Quixote.
